Two New iPhone Models Coming This Year

According to Wall Street Journal, two new iPhones will be coming.

For the first one, Apple plans to produce a new iPhone this year which will end AT&T’s exclusivity and will work on a type of wireless network called CDMA. This model is made by Pegatron Technology Corp which is the contract manufacturing subsidiary of Taiwan’s ASUSTeK Computer. Schedule for mass production is set for September.

The second one is a new version of its current iPhone which is likely to be thinner and have a faster processor. This model is made by previous iPhone producer, Hon Hai Precision Industry Co. It was informed that this iPhone would be announced on June 22nd and would be dubbed the iPhone HD.

BlackBerry Bold Coming For AT&T In November 4 For $299.99

Official press release from AT&T reads a release date on November 4 for RIM’s BlackBerry Bold for $299.99 on a two year contract. Good news for those waiting for the BlackBerry Bold to be launched with AT&T.

The BlackBerry Bold is the first BlackBerry smartphone to support tri-band HSDPA high speed network. Features include a HVGA (480 x 320 resolution at 217 ppi) color LCD, 2 megapixel camera with video recording, multimidia capabilities, 128MB Flash memory plus 1GB on-board storage memory, microSD/SDHC memory card slot.

Pantech Matrix Launched In The US Via AT&T

Matrix, the dual slide 3G phone from Pantech was launched in the United States via AT&T. It includes a full sliding qwerty keyboard and a numeric keypad. Features include a 1.3 megapixel camera, bluetooth, dual band UMTS/HSDPA, AT&T Navigator Service and Video Share support. The Pantech Matrix comes in 3 different types of colors - red, blue and black.
