The tough looking BenQ M7 is covered in a protective case that is capable of resisting natural element. Tough as BenQ claims it to be, this doesn’t mean that the phone will survive a sand burial or a dip in a glass of water but instead withstand minor contact with water or dust.

The BenQ M7 proves itself to be a stylish and appealing mid-range handset that comes with a sporty touch and features a 2.0 megapixel camera, a secondary VGA camera for video calls through 3G technology, GPS, tri-band GSM radio with 2100Mhz UMTS, Bluetooth 2.0 connectivity and a GPS module.

For the time being, the pricing and availability details have not been known yet.

BenQ announces the launch of its BenQ E72 that comes in metallic pink and grey guise. Measuring 108 x 46.3 x 13.8, the E72 is relatively thin, weighs about 90gms and sports a 2-inch 65,000 color TFT screen which we believe will be appealing to most female users.

With the availability of the BenQ E72’s WiFi connectivity, users are able to chat on AOL, Yahoo, Google Talk, MSN and ICQ simultaneously or even access a full range of online information right on the phone. Furthermore, users get to enjoy videos or other online entertainments while on the move.

The E72 is also an MP3 player that supports WAV and WMA audio and the phone itself has microSD card that is expandable up to 2GB memory for mass storage of images, audio and videos.

This handset is expected to be available is selected countries in the Asia Pacific and European regions in the later quarter of the year.

This limited edition of the S68 BenQ Siemens phone (only in Germany) is made using stainless steel and its back made from ceramics formed at 1350 degrees celcius. This type of ceramics is used in automobile brakes and therefore is resistant against scratches. The phone is selling for a suggested price of $635.
