Orange And O2 Wants Nokia To Remove Skype From N97

Orange and O2, two UK mobile operators are threatening not to carry on the Nokia N97 after its inclusion of a mobile version Skype sent these two cellular service providers fuming. Terrified that their profits will plunge if users choose the low cost VoIP Skype service, they remained a closed door attitude and reinforced their zero tolerance against low-cost calls.
Some other mobile operators though has a more open attitude where they would offer a handset with Skype capabilities. They see that including VoIP software on mobile phones would actually lead to more sales and at this time of economic crisis, more people would definitely opt for lower cost calls.
