When everybody thought that the first 8.0 megapixel camera will only come out some time next year, check out the Lensas F2218 from the Chinese that is ready to enter the market. The available specifications on the Lensas F2218 is a knockout but unfortunately, this handset will not found anywhere outside China. Having both the looks and the specifications does not give the Lensas F2218 a double thumbs up because according to PConline, the phone is very slow, unresponsive and buggy.

The iPhone has shaken the mobile industry ever since it first appeared. All other phone manufacturers are heavily threatened by the impact that it has brought resulting in continuous efforts to challenge the iPhone or even, imitate it.
Apparently, Meizu has “cloned” the iPhone itself with its Meizu M8 and is expected to appear at the CES 2008 exposition some time in February next year. The Meizu M8 appears thicker than the iPhone measuring 57 x 105 x 11.5mm. It also features a better 3.3 inch touchscreen resolution of 720 x 480 pixels and 16 million colors. The M8 runs on a 667Mhz processor and 128M RAM and also comes with WiFi support, 8GB storage, 3.0 megapixel camera and video recording capabilites at 30fps.
Nevertheless, this perfect iPhone clone becomes a disappointment without 3G support.

The AMEX Digital introduces its G-Plus GPS Phone available in a selection of colour options together with its sleek exterior and better yet, a 2.4 inch 3D display, that remains as an enigma until further information has been provided. This handset features tri-band GSM connectivity, an embedded GPS antenna, integrated media player, miniSD expansion slot and a surprisingly low resolution 1.3 megapixel camera.
Nothing has been known on its pricing or availability which AMEX Digital would probably release over the phone. Give them a ring if you think the handset’s tri-band GSM and 1.3 megapixel camera can be disregarded and overlooked.
