Tipped off by an anonymous tipster, this pen phone design is not a finished product yet. In fact, they are working on this pen concept and also added that the undisclosed company he’s working for wants to gauge interest in such a device. The two target shaped areas on the top and bottom are the earpiece and receiver respectively however it is believed that most users would rather connect to the phone through Bluetooth earpieces.
It comes in about 8.7 inches in length, a microSD slot for memory card and a mini digital screen. Nevertheless, with all its digital components squeezed inside a mere pen, the room for its ink has to be quite limited.

Remember the old times game where you steer a round yellow looking thingy through the maze eating as many dots as you can while avoiding ghosts?
Well, surfing gear company Quicksilver makes an attempt to remind everybody of the long lost but unforgotten game through the release of their design of a Pacman-like concept phone. The display looks pretty worrisome whereby only half the screen shows when the phone is closed. Furthermore, if the phone is shut too hard, the display is bound to get scratched.
Despite its cons, this concept may just work well if thoroughly studied and manufactured properly.
It is definitely way cool to have a phone looking like your old time favourite game.

![Sharp Advanced/W-Zero3[es] Smartphone 01](http://www.xenmobile.com/images/others/w-zero3-01.jpg)
When closed, it is an ordinary candy bar cell phone. When opened, it turns out to be a complete smartphone.
The Advanced/W-Zero3 looks like a hybrid between a PDA and standard phone that comes conveniently equipped with a slide out QWERTY keyboard and a WVGA (800 x 480) screen resolution. It runs on Windows Mobile 6.0, complete with Wi-Fi, Web Browser, Microsoft Office Mobile but owns a mere 1.3 megapixel camera which is rather surprising.
Critics are saying that by Sharp’s design to squeeze the screen into two thirds of the phone’s length results in an oddly cramped design that makes its users feel like they’re typing through a letter box.
Nevertheless, the Sharp Advanced/W-Zero3 is only available in Japan.
