A recent survey by ChangeWave shows that Android has overtaken the iPhone as the mobile OS that smart phone buyers plan to buy in 2010. In Dec 2009 it is Android’s 21 percent vs iPhone’s 28 percent and fast forward to March 2010 and Android tops interest to 30 percent while iPhone’s at 29 percent. A mere 1 percent win but a win is a win.
This trend shows that Android will be a growing threat to the iPhone OS X. The other competing platforms such as RIM, Windows Mobile saw a drop in interest. In the satisfaction area though the iPhone leads at 76 percent while Android is a near second with 65 percent.

The BlackBerry Bold 9700 as spotted on Thailand’s RIM official website shows that there is the option of the color white and it is speculated it won’t be long till it comes to the States. It was expected since the Black Berry Bold 9000 was offered the white colored version afterwards.
White color would really work well with the silver bands in the keyboard and some people would consider white color more slick than the black (Not me though, i still prefer black). No official word yet on pricing and availability but we’ll update once we have the news.

When compared to iPhone users and Android owners - a high percentile of 92 percent and 87 percent respectively, this shows the loyalty of users towards each brand.

After the iPhone outsold RIM’s BlackBerry Storm to the tune of four to one in the last quarter of 2008, New York based Guava came up with this ad concept to RIM which comes with an anti-Apple message. After much consideration, RiM decided not to use this ad for its BlackBerry Storm which depicted a slow motion capture of BlackBerry Storm bullet passing through an apple which ended with a words ‘The world’s first touch-screen BlackBerry. Nothing can touch it’.

Features include OVGA 2.4 inch 320×240 screen supporting 65K colors, media capabilities, 2 megapixel camera and video recording, html rendering, stereo bluetooth support, external microSD memory card slot and full fledged BlackBerry apps such as email, Flickr and Facebook.
Connectivity support includes Quad-band GSM/GPRS/EDGE/WiFi network as well as support for international roaming.
T-Mobile is currently the exclusive telecommunications courier for the BlackBerry Pearl Flip 8220.
