HTC Legend Gets Enhanced HTC Sense Experience

According to HTC’s press release, the HTC Legend would have enhanced HTC Sense Experience. The Legend is also the world’s first phone sculpted from a solid piece of aluminium.

A stylish smartphone that has a 3.2 inch AMOLED multitouch display, 5 megapixel camera with LED flash and comes with a 600 MHz processor. It is also loaded with hidden little design touches such as the ringer volume automatically lowers when the phone is picked up.

The HTC Legend will use HTC’s SENSE UI atop Android 2.1 and will add new features and UI options. The HTC application and widget called Friend Stream aggregates all social communications including Facebook, Twitter, Plurk and Flickr into one organized flow of updates.

The Legend will go on sale in Europe via Vodafone in April 2010 and rolled out to the rest of the globe later on.

Sony Ericsson has recently announced its funky music phone, the Sony Ericsson V640i available exclusively with Vodafone in selected markets offering its users style and fashion, a hand set that does not compromise on music capability or performance. In fact, it’s a great balance of form and function as quoted by Global Director of Vodafone, Jens Schulte-Bockum.

Samsung F700 (Croix) Coming To Vodafone In Christmas

Samsung F700 aka Samsung Croix is coming out on the Vodafone this Christmas which was earlier described as the iPhone killer. It is a triband GSM (900/1800/1900) slider phone with a full QWERTY keyboard and has a touchscreen display that supports 262k colors with a resolution of 240 x 440 pixels. It has a 5 Megapixel camera with autofocus and supports EDGE, GPRS, UMTS and HSPDA. The pricing is still unknown but the Samsung F700 is rumored to come free with a monthly contract. Besides the iphone killer announcement, Vodafone also announced a deal with Ominifone that allows creators of MusicStation to download tracks from Universal Music Group, Sony BMG Music Entertainment, Warner Music Group and EMI Music directly to the handset.
