Millionth Apple iPhone Sold In UK

The iPhone is exclusively available on the O2 network in the UK and reportedly sold its one millionth iPhone during the most recent quarter (Q4 2008). The demand for the iPhone is slower when compared to other countries especially the US where O2 only have 25 percent of the subscribers that AT&T have.
O2 also observed that there was ‘increased activity around the iPhone towards the end of the year’ probably due to consumer seasonal activity. This is definitely good news for Apple which definitely wants to see its iPhone penetrating through in other countries.
