Palm Pre Plus And Palm Pixi Plus Price Reduction To Attract Smartphone Customers
Verizon Wireless is reducing the price on the Palm Pre Plus and Palm Pixi Plus smart phones and this could help Palm win some customers who have been struggling to compete with the likes of Apple, HTC, Samsung in the smartphone markets.
Both the Palm Pre Plus and Pixi Plus are touch screens with standard QWERTY keyboard and black in color. The difference is the sliding keyboard of the Palm Pre Plus.
Verzon spokeswoman Brenda Raney said that Verizon is selling Palm’s Pre Plus for $50, down from $150 while the Pixi Plus now goes for $30 instead of $80. Customers who wants a smartphone on the cheap should find this a good deal. Both of these require a two year contract though.
