Samsung Omnia 2 sales surpasses 600k In South Korea

The Samsung Omnia 2 GT-I8000 was introduced in Source Korea in August 2009 and Samsung recently announced that the Omnia 2 smartphone has surpassed 600,000 units in South Korea. The average sales was 100,000 units per month and the Samsung says the reason why the phone is selling well is because users are satisfied with Omnia’s 2 performance and its after-sales service.
Specs of the Omnia 2 include a 3.7 inch WVGA AMOLED 16M (limited to 65k due to OS), runs on Windows Mobile 6.1 (upgradable to Windows Mobile 6.5), 5 megapixel camera with autofocus and dual LED flash, 800 MHz processor and microSD up to 32 GB.
