Sony Ericsson K850i A Promising Successor To K800i

From K800i to K810i, the changes were simply not enough to quench the thirst of consumers who were expecting more. Sony Ericsson therefore makes a second attempt by introducing the promising Sony Ericsson K850i and hopes to get public positive responses.
The most obvious change is the increase from 3.2 to 5.0 megapixel in the camera’s resolution thus creating a battle of the 5-megapixels in the fourth quarter of the year with Samsung releasing its G600. Another notable change would be the drop of the entire mechanical lens cover on the k850i, replacing it with a dedicated on/off button. Although a layer of clear plastic now protects the cover, fingerprint smudges become a problem. The battery compartment of the K850i sports a slide-out door allowing access to the battery and sim card, unlike most mobile phones where changing the power cell involves removing a cover.
The Sony Ericsson K850i will be available in Luminous Green and Velvet Blue and is expected to appear in Asian markets during early Q4 this year.
